Student counselling (monitoraat)
Student counselling aims at students from the first bachelor’s year and is mainly course-related (counselling and tutoring for the courses on mathematics, physics, chemistry and informatics, and a number of courses from the second bachelor’s year and linking course programmes).
We also offer general study support, regarding study planning and study skills.
As student counselling is mainly aimed at Dutch-speaking students, our student counselling web pages are mainly in Dutch. If you are a non-Dutch speaking student looking for information on study planning and study support, contact us through e-mail (monitoraat.ea@ugent.be).
You can book an appointment at IRO, International Relations Office.
On campus Gent you can also book an appointment at FSA, the Faculty's Student Administration.

NEW: Warm FEA chats
The coronavirus challenges students to be creative in organizing their studies. We therefore have launched an online faculty support center to help students with any study-related issues on a daily basis: ‘warme FEA babbels’ / warm FEA chats.
Have a chat with one of our faculty’s staff members, and let us help you with any question regarding your studies, your study method, etc.
International students are also welcome to chat with one of the staff members from the faculty's international office.
You can book a session on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., and on Tuesday and Thursday between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.
